As the icing on the cake ; Not as base layer

And I see this on my own accounts too.

When I post boring content, it doesn’t reach non-followers.

When I post great content, hashtags and explore helps me to grow a lot.

So what should you do?

Start with the basics first.

Define your audience

  1. Who are they?
  2. Who do they want to becomes?
  3. What are their goals?
  4. Where are they stuck?

Understand how platforms work.

This will make it much easier to create better content.

Then create content that helps your audience become who they want to become.

  1. Educational carousels
  2. Talking videos
  3. Infographics
  4. Cool images with longer copy
  5. Entertainment (funny, aesthetic, etc.)

And only then growth hack.

Last week I came across an online course.

As I was going through their landing page…

Two days after, I decided to pay for it and I found out that Enrollment was now Closed…
